A graduate of Texas Christian University, Dr. Gilroy attended medical school at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and did his residency at University of Florida’s Department of Radiation Oncology. His publications include research regarding the treatment of rectal cancer, irradiating the Inguinal Nodes, breast conserving therapy, and head and neck cancer. Dr. Gilroy is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology, American College of Radiation Oncology, American College of Radiology, American Brachytherapy Society, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Gilroy is affiliated with the San Luis Radiation Oncology Medical Center.
