Dr. Robert Johnson and Dr. Jeffrey Wu lead the qualified and compassionate team of cancer care professionals at San Luis Obispo Radiation Oncology Center.
The San Luis Radiation Oncology treatment team offers a full range of advanced treatment options, including Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), and 3D Radiation Treatment Planning. Dr. Johnson and Dr. Wu are active in Radiation Oncology treatment research and education, leading outreach efforts and cancer prevention initiatives in the San Luis Obispo community.

Dr. Johnson graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.S. in Biology. He obtained his M.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology at the University of Louisville, serving as chef resident in his final year. At the University of Louisville, Dr. Johnson gained comprehensive training in general radiation oncology.

Raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Dr. Wu graduated cum laude from Duke University with majors in Chemistry and Biology. He received his M.D. from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He remained in Los Angeles to complete an internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
After spending 10 years building the Coastal Radiation Oncology practice at Mission Hope Cancer Center in Santa Maria, Dr. Wu now primarily sees patients at the San Luis Obispo Radiation Oncology Center.
