Dr. Ben Wilkinson, and Dr. Dylan Conroy lead the qualified and dedicated team of cancer treatment professionals at Coastal Radiation Oncology’s Mission Hope Cancer Center site in Santa Maria. Dr. Ben Wilkinson is a board-certified radiation oncologist specializing in the treatment of all cancers including prostate, breast, lung, and brain tumors. He and his wife, Laurin, grew up in San Diego. After graduating high school, Dr. Wilkinson attended college at Texas Christian University and then medical school at Texas A&M College of Medicine. He completed his intern year at University of Maryland, followed by residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan.

Dr. Conroy remained in Washington, DC to complete his residency in Radiation Oncology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. During his training, he gained experience across myriad radiotherapy techniques, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT), image guided radiation therapy (IGRT), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and brachytherapy for prostate and gynecologic malignancies.
